Consumer Lender, Full Time
We have an opening in our Consumer Loan Center for a Consumer Lender I. This position is expected to provide excellent member service to credit union members and potential members, answer questions and process consumer loan requests accurately and efficiently while ensuring confidence and accountability. Additionally, build trusted relationships through financial recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to members/non-members courteously and professionally across all communication channels.
- Process and complete consumer loan inquiries, including credit cards.
- Build trusted relationships by assessing needs and recommending financial solutions.
- Pro-actively offer additional products and services.
- Maintain comprehensive credit report knowledge to assist with credit improvement.
- Stay informed about credit insurance products and actively offer them to qualifying members.
- Provide responses to various membership/account inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with consumer loan products and services.
- Understand credit union products, services, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information.
- Meet established expectations and handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience Expectations:
- High school graduate or equivalent, required.
- Two years of customer service experience, required.
- Two years of financial industry experience, preferred.
- Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite/o365 Suite.
- Strong typing and basic technology problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of e-services including online banking/mobile app and e-sign.
- Understanding of State and Federal loan regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with members in our branches, providing exceptional service and support.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and managing our credit union’s networks, servers, and systems, ensuring seamless operations and robust infrastructure protection. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, VoIP components, and more. They will analyze and resolve system-related issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools, support team members, meet established deadlines, lead IT projects, and keep leadership informed of system-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and management of networks, servers, and systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operations and protection of infrastructure.
- Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VoIP components.
- Analyze and resolve system-related issues reported by users or monitoring tools.
- Support team members and meet established deadlines.
- Perform as an IT project lead and keep leadership informed of system-related matters.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, CCNA, CISSP, and/or other industry certifications preferred.
- Five years of experience in a System/Network Administrator role preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Three references acknowledging knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding technology.
- Strong knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
- Knowledge of Windows server-based networked environments and components.
- Technical expertise in networking, Windows Server, and desktop operating systems.
- Ability to create scripts in Python, PowerShell, SQL, or another language.

Serving our community is a part of the mission at TBA Credit Union. In 2024, our staff volunteered 2,591.35 hours. Each full-time employee is provided a paid volunteer day to work with the organization of their choice and give back.
